Welcome to a New Year. The slate is clean, and the future is yet to be written. I like this time of the year (though I hate the cold weather…what’s up with 30, 40’s in the South?). It’s at this time of the year that I am reminded the future is not here yet. Last year’s is, but not this coming year’s. I need to remind myself that it can be different in 2004. I don’t have to be the same this time next year. It’s yet to be written.
I’m not much on resolutions, but I’m big on plans, and dreams. Action points, mile markers, all are cool. They help me to get down the road, and to the destination of “future.” I hope my family, my friends, my church are all excited about a new opportunity to be different, to be changed, at least some.
Happy New Year! Let the morphing begin!
